As identified in the Australian Government’s Technology Investment Roadmap Discussion Paper, establishing cost-effective hydrogen production could be one of the key opportunities for Australia’s low emissions future. This webinar will review hydrogen production technologies and show examples of nuclear power reactors that enable high-efficiency hydrogen production.
Warner Priest is the Business Development Manager for Distributed Energy Systems and Emerging Technologies in the Smart Infrastructure business within Siemens Australia. He is a member of CIGRE and sat on the Australia CIGRE AP B5 committee for 10 years and was a member of the Australian Protection Symposium committee.
Warner’s field of expertise stem from ~25 years’ experience in the energy industry, with a particular focus on making our energy systems smarter. He initiated and helped draft the Hydrogen Roadmap for South Australia in 2017 and the Australian National Hydrogen Roadmap with CSIRO in 2018.
