In 2022, Women in Nuclear (WiN) Japan hosted the WiN Global Conference commemorating 11 years since the Great East Japan Earthquake, Tsunami and Nuclear Disaster. The theme for the conference was the evolution of decommissioning including a technical tour to Fukushima and the TEPCO Daiichi nuclear power plant. This event will focus on the technical tour visit and highlight the observations made in the aftermath of the accident and the long road ahead as TEPCO decommissions the site.
